Summer 2019 ULA Rocket Payload Program
Do you want to begin learning how to launch a car into space? Interested in some hands-on Aerospace and Electronics project learning this summer, while having fun?
This spring and summer, STEM has been given the opportunity to participate with the ULA Intern Heavy Future program. The ULA Launch is tentatively scheduled for July.
In the Beginner class, students will be making a floating device that returns to a specified location and possibly win a $5000 prize. The students will learn about the math, physics, DC electronics and programming involved in the making of their payload design.
OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS 5th Grade and Up, in the South Metro area.
This program is led by Jeff Dunker, who has led our summer ULA Payload Program for the past several years.
ULA Class: begins Thursday, April 4, 2019
meets every Thursday until the launch in July.
