Natural History Club
Join STEM's Natural History Club! This is a club for students interested in all things natural history. We will explore animals, plants, geology, paleontology, and natural processes. We will learn how to observe the natural environment, use our observations to read the environment, and predict what's going on in the environment. We will learn basic techniques for specimen collecting and preservation. We will visit museums and have guest speakers in the field of natural history so students can explore the types of careers associated with natural history. We will design and implement studies that help us learn more about our local environment and our own findings.
Meetings: Tuesdays, 3:25 to 4:20, beginning February 14th
Open to 6th-12th grade students
