STEM School and Academy will be sponsoring one or more 2015 FTC teams (6-8 students on the team) for the upcoming 2015-16 challenge. All students wishing to be part of a competitive team should sign up!
The FIRST Tech Challenge is more than a robotics program. We are a community focused on building a better world for tomorrow by engaging students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
FTC is about teaching students the value of hard work, innovation and creativity. It goes beyond competition by teaching teenagers the importance of working together, sharing ideas and treating each other with respect and dignity.
The student fee includes the following; attendance for all STEM Academy FTC meetings (summer and fall), FTC Team Registration, 2015 Field Setup Kit, and the 2015 Colorado Regional Tournament Entry fee.
The team will meet monthly over the summer, and weekly in the fall. Summer and Fall meeting times are currently being determined.
